Just wanted to touch base on a few things...

Hey all, seeing as it's been pretty quiet around here as of late, I wanted to (re)discuss a few things...

First, who plans on making it out to the June 21st game? I will be making a concerted effort on getting out to the tailgate early, as I want to start taking photos for a collage video to promote L134!

Second, I am in the middle of getting a tifo idea together. So I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a treasurey started (Paypal?), where everyone can chip in for supplies if they wish to! My idea isn't too expensive (about $20), but it would be nice if some people would like to contribute

Along with this, I had noticed people bringing Brazilian and Scottish flags to the game, which is great! But we DO have two Swedish players on our team also, so maybe we should make an effort to show them our support by getting a Swedish flag too (Along with a British and Aus too ofcourse) I know of a great website to purchase flags if someone doesn't already have one...

Third, any updates at all about Puma L134 stuffs?

Thanks for getting the ball rolling for all of us again.

I know that I won't be able to make the game this weekend. And I don't think Liz will be there either... we don't currently have anyone that wants to do the tailgate. I'll be out of town from Thursday on, so any help from me would need to be done by the end of the work day tomorrow.

It would be awesome to get other flags. It's not that we don't love our Sweedish, etc players, it's just that DJ only has flags from the other countries. He hasn't done it intentionally and the rest of us just don't have those other flags. What are people's thoughts on this? should we buy flags from our budget to represent the rest of the players? Or should people bring/buy them on their own? We would need a place to store them for every game and someone to be responsible for them as well (if it came out of the 134 budget).

What are everyone's thoughts on paypal donations for tifo, etc? Tom, is this something you'd be able to set up for us on the site.

BTW, I don't think we're going to have a newsletter this time around, but we'll try to do something before the game on the 1st. We can mention the youtube channel then.

Ohhh and I'll check in on L134 & Puma updates!

Hmmm, so no tailgate as we know. Ok, maybe next game than we'll have more people. Sunday is fathers day anyhow, so I'll probably just spend the day with family.

Ah, alright, so it was more of an individual thing. I think it would be a pretty neat idea to display flags that represent all of the home countries of the players that play for the Red Stars (U.S., Aus, Eng, Bra, Swe). Show that we support them playing for our team. We'll be the U.N. of WPS :b
