I have a gut feeling that our midwestern neighbors in St. Louis will end up being the Red Stars most disliked WPS team. Especially after acquiring the talented Hope Solo.
Who do you think the Red Stars' biggest rivalry should be? And why?

I agree it'll be St Louis, as we'll be able to travel in numbers to their games. And if they have any supporters, hopefully they'll send some up here.
Though I'm taking a personal dislike to Sky Blue FC for (a) being from New Jersey; (b) having a crappy name; and (c) having an even crappier logo.

Yeah, who decided on "Sky Blue"?! Horrible.
St. Louis will be Toyota Park South come game day.

I hate St. Louis because their club's name is... St. Louis. No FC, no SC... just St. Louis... friggin' lame!

I'd like to point out that the blue sky holds together all that is good in this world. A worthwhile thing to commemorate with a soccer team name. Meanwhile, what does a Red Star represent? Communism. Grey sky. Joe McCarthy would be very disappointed in you all. But I guess I should expect this out of those who live near the Second City. No smiley icons for you!!

As if the previous poster wasn't enough proof, it is important to remember that a blue sky has nothing in it but a bunch of hot air. It's more important to remember that the "Windy City" has that nickname because Chicagolanders are full of empty bluster. But since you're interested, we here at Sky Blue are in fact responsible for Global Warming! Joe McCarthy would be very disappointed in you all. a badge of honor! Don't make Joe angry around Halloween. You wouldn't like dead Joe when he's angry...

"She outgrows her prophecies faster than she can make them. She is always a novelty; for she is never the Chicago you saw when you passed through the last time" - Mark Twain on Chicago.
I think Mr. Twain hit the nail on the head, it was as true in the late 19th/early 20th century as it is today. What did anyone ever write Jersey?

Sorry, I just joined this group. I am AMAZED that no one thought of comparing this rivalry to the Cubs-Cardinals longtime hatred of each other! Only this time, I'm proud to be Red...as in RED STARS, woo-hoo!
Much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving....only five months to Opening Day at Toyota Park!
